The Most Powerful Organ Of Our Body And How It Actually Works

Many people are slaves of their mind, they don't realize the gap between the surroundings and their mind, because they have never thought of controlling it, and hence they feel victimized by the circumstances, the situations outside, the behaviors of others accordingly.

God has given us all many resources to lead the life we choose, amongst these is the inner most powerful machinery called the mind. But we’re missing the ability to control it. If your mind is controlled, it will become your best friend, but if it is uncontrolled it will be your worst enemy.

Firstly, it’s important to know how the mind works, so that you can control it, and then only you can focus it. Because, you can't focus/concentrate something that you don't understand.

Most part of the day when you’re awake, you practice distraction and that’s why you're so good at it. As the old saying goes “Practice makes perfect”. We become good at whatever we practice, whether it's positive or negative. And that's why people are so good at distraction because it's what they practice all day, every day.

The Most Powerful Organ Of Our Body And How It Actually Works

There are two important things to understand; one is consciousness, and the other is the mind. Let’s assume consciousness is a ball of light that moves along with focus/concentration, and let’s assume your mind is a huge space with many sections/areas in it. Now, as mentioned earlier, the ball of consciousness can move to any area of focus/concentration, therefore, it lights up that area in the mind, and you become conscious of it.

Now this is what happens throughout the day, we allow other people and events around us to take our consciousness from one area of the mind to another. To be concentrated, is to be able to keep your consciousness on one thing for a prolonged period of time. We can practice this by doing one thing at a time throughout the day, and the best way to develop concentration is to bring that practice into our everyday life.

For example; every time you speak with someone, keep your consciousness on that person. And whenever your attention drifts away, bring it back. The more you practice this, the more you become better at concentration. Give them your undivided attention. When you're able to concentrate, you're able to focus all your energy into a single given point.

Energy flows where focus goes. Life is a manifestation of where your energy is flowing, and if you can't focus/concentrate your energy, the things that you want to manifest in your life becomes very challenging.

Practice to concentrate by doing one thing at a time every single day.
